KEYNOTERS:

Katrina Owen – GitHub: She is a Senior Software Engineer and she accidentally became a developer while pursuing a degree in molecular biology.

Hadi Hariri – JetBrains: Developer and creator of many things OSS, he has been programming in one way, shape or form since the age of 12.

SPEAKERS:

Dave Cheney : He’s a software engineer and hardware enthusiast from Sydney, Australia

Matt Schallert – Uber: He’s a Site Reliability Engineer at Uber where he works on their open-source metrics platform, M3.

Emma Wedekind LogMeIn: She’s a UX Engineer based in Karlsruhe, Germany. She began her career as a Software Engineer at IBM in Austin, Texas, and three years later picked up and moved abroad.

Sebastiano Gottardo – Blinklist: He’s passionate about mobile security and cutting edge technologies, matured while working with companies like Megavideo and several other startups.

Sara Vieira – Mindera: She’s a Front-End Developer in Portugal.

Jorge D. Ortiz-Fuentes – Canonical Examples: He’s a freelancer dedicated to mobile development, security, and systems architecture. As a developer, he started to work for the MIT in 1993 and since then he has collaborated in many software projects.

Richard Feldman – NoRedInk: He’s the author of “Elm in Action” from Manning Publications, and the instructor for the Frontend Masters Introduction to Elm and Advanced Elm workshops.

Lena Reinhard – CircleCI: She is currently Director of Engineering at CircleCI. After a career in finance, arts, and media, Lena found herself working in tech and at age 26 co-founded her first software company and became a CEO.

PJ Hagerty – DevRelate.io: Developer, writer, speaker, musician, Community Advocate, and founder of DevRelate.io.

Peter Steinberger – PSPDFKit GmbH: He founded and bootstrapped PSPDFKit in 2011, and has since expanded the company with the goal of providing the highest quality PDF framework for all platforms.

Eberhard Wolff – INNOQ: He has 15+ years of experience as an architect and consultant – often on the intersection of business and technology. He is a Fellow at INNOQ in Germany.

Nikita Baksalyar – MaidSafe: Nikita is a Mozilla TechSpeaker and a Senior Rust engineer at MaidSafe.

Ellen Körbes – Garden: Ellen’s a developer advocate at Garden, and also an avid gopher—responsible for the most comprehensive Go course in Portuguese.

George Xing – Lyft: George leads the analytics team at Lyft, where he joined as the first analytics hire and scaled the team over the last 5 years.

Hawra Milani – GDG Oxford: She’s an active community organiser, where she spends a lot of her time in organising, attending, and speaking at technical conferences around the world.

Alexander Gerasimov – 21/23: Alex is a front-end engineer in the office hours and a functional programming aficionado in his spare time.

Elena Grahovac – N26: Elena is a Lead TechOps Automation Engineer at N26 and a co-host of the GolangShow podcast.

Gerard Sans – Amazon Web Services: Gerard is a Developer Advocate at AWS. He is very excited about the future of the Web and JavaScript.

Jad Joubran – Self-employed: Jad is a Google Developer Expert, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional and Freelance Web Consultant based in Amsterdam.

Pascal Zenker – SRLabs: Pascal Zenker researches kernel- and embedded device security at the Berlin-based hacking collective, Security Research Labs.

Vincent Ulitzsch – SRLabs: Vincent is a researcher at Security Research Labs, a Berlin based hacking collective. His work focuses on blockchain security and vulnerability detection via fuzzing.
