Industrie come quella alimentare e dei semiconduttori hanno requisiti stringenti riguardo i dispositivi di sicurezza individuale (DPI) per salvaguardare la sicurezza del lavoratore e la qualità di produzione. Per supportare le aziende nel controllo dei DPI, abbiamo creato lo Smart Mirror: un dispositivo che sfrutta modelli di Deep Learning e algoritmi di Computer Vision per identificare potenziali violazioni, con lo scopo di aiutare l'utente durante il processo di controllo dei DPI. Mostreremo come sviluppare servizi Docker collegati ad un inference server e che comunicano tramite Kafka.

Born in 1993 in Genoa where I studied Electronic Enginieering (B.Sc.) and Robotics Engineering (M.Sc). I finished my Ph.D in 2021 with a thesis on autonomous surgery. My academic research focused on and cognitive analysis for automation of surgical robots and contributed to the field of Surgical Robotics. I currently work as a Research Specialist at Konica Minolta R&D Global developing intelligent video solution for Health and Safety on the workplace.

Born in Avellino in 1986, I've been passionate about technology and innovation since I used my uncle's mac for the first time at the age of seven. After the degree in management engineering, I started my career as a project manager mainly for telco and betting companies, but I soon fell in love with product management. Currently, I live in Rome and I work for Konica Minolta as a Technology Product Owner for the video solution services team where we mainly focus on building innovative products that use computer vision to guard the health and safety of workers.
