American author, game developer, screenwriter and artist Jordan Mechner created the pioneering video games Karateka, Prince of Persia, and The Last Express. He collaborated with Ubisoft and Disney as game designer and screenwriter to relaunch Prince of Persia as a global franchise in 2003 (game) and 2010 (film). Jordan's books include the New York Times best-selling, Eisner award-nominated graphic novel Templar, and his 1980s game development journals The Making of Karateka and The Making of Prince of Persia. He recently published a book of his sketch journal entitled Year 2 in France.Back to speakers list
