From 7 to 7000 transactions per second. Scalability is a critical topic in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Due to critical limits in the Blockchain size, the number of on-chain transactions the Bitcoin network can accomodate is very low. This talk will present how the power of bitcoin scripting has been used to overcome these limits through the Lightning Network.
