The Micronaut Framework is truly impressive in its coverage of necessary functionalities and integrations for advanced application development. I would like to show how easy it is for a sophisticated framework to use current "good practices" for the development of cloud-based microservice systems. In addition to the integration with service discovery, monitoring, tracing and resilience, the message-based communication between the services will also be demonstrated using Apache Kafka. The practical example is an application system for reusing real-time data from Meetup.com.
